If you’re worried about having to get a Github account: it’s free and easy and won’t inconvenience you. If you don’t know what Github is, it’s a tool used by web developers to share their code, work in teams, and do all sorts of techie things. But you don’t have to be a techie to get an account.

I used it for my blog because it is free, respected, and not owned by Meta or X or Google. It’s an open-source too for open-source people.

RSS

If you want to be notified of blog entries, think about subscribing to my RSS feed. If you don’t know about RSS, here’s nice, short explanation and tutorial. I use the newsboat RSS reader in terminal, but there are plenty of options, like Feedly.

There might even be a way to make an RSS reader send you email notifications. I haven’t investigated it, but there’s probably a way, so you don’t have to go to the reader itself unless there are new articles to read.
